CallVault has two roles — user and admin. Admin reach is granted by database row-level security and enforced live, with privileged actions handled server-side.

From a user's detail screen an admin can change their role, disable or re-enable the account, or delete the user and all their data.

For administrators: publishing a release, the policy every phone follows, plan limits and grants, cloud usage, and the audit log.

A recording is usable the moment the call ends. Each track backs up on its own, retries on an increasing delay, and CallVault never removes a phone copy before that recording is synced and its checksum verified.

The phone's own database is the source of truth. Turn private cloud backup on and a copy of each recording, plus its call details, is kept as private files on CallVault's servers.

Recordings sit in app-private storage no other app can read, uploads go over HTTPS only, and there is no end-to-end encryption. The limits are here beside the promises.
