Playback & speed

Tap any recording in the list to open its detail screen, where you can listen, adjust the pace, and manage the file.

Play a recording​

The detail screen has an audio player with the usual play/pause and a seek bar. On the phone it plays the local file; in the web app it streams the backed-up copy from its URL. Direction (incoming/outgoing), number or contact, date, duration, and your note are all shown alongside.

Change the speed​

Use the playback-speed control to slow a call down to catch a detail or speed it up to review a long call quickly. The setting applies to the current playback session.

Export, share, and save​

From the detail screen you can:

  • Share the audio to another app.
  • Save to Downloads to keep a copy outside CallVault.
  • Bulk-select several recordings in the list to export or delete them together.

Sharing and saving copy the audio out of CallVault's private storage — treat the exported file the way you'd treat any sensitive recording, and keep in mind the call-recording-law notes if you plan to send it on.

Delete​

Deleting is covered on its own — you can remove a recording from just this device or from everywhere. See Account deletion.
